We’ve been having an unusual amount of snow the past several days and have been making the most of it. Maple Leaf Park, near our house, is a great place to go sledding:

This morning, when Steve went to get Ruby, she was sitting up in bed. When he came in, she announced: “I’m spelunking!”
Ruby’s favorite thing to do with blocks is no longer dumping out the whole box! Now she is intent on building towers and tunnels (and enjoying their inevitable collapses, and laughing at the word “collapse”).
Ruby took my picture with her very own camera yesterday!
Her “very own camera” is a magnet, about 2″ x 3″, with a Canadian flag on the front. She points it at her subject and says, “smile!”. I guess the maple leaf could be the lens…
